SODA CRACKER CANDY 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
Soda crackers
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Line cookie sheet with foil, then lay crackers side by side so they are touching. Boil butter and sugar 3 minutes. Then pour over crackers. Bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and pour chocolate chips evenly over top, let melt, then spread. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired. Cool in refrigerator. When cooled, break into pieces. Keeps best in refrigerator.
