SAGINAW CRACKER CANDY 
Saltine crackers
1 c. butter (1/2 lb.)
1 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
Chopped nuts, your choice

Line jelly roll pan with tinfoil. Layer with crackers.

Mix butter and sugar; boil for 3 minutes, stirring all the while!

Pour mixture over crackers. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes (until brown and bubbly).

Cool. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top; when melted a little, spread. Sprinkle nuts over chocolate. Tastes like pastry.
