FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 can fruit cocktail
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat above ingredients until well mixed, pour into loaf pan. Sprinkle 3/4 cup brown sugar and pecans on top of dough. Bake at 350 degrees, use toothpick method to check. Takes about 30 minutes.
