TILAPIA LA TINE' | |
Can be made in a bigger quantity. This is for one. PER SERVING: 1 tilapia fillet 5 crushed saltines 1 egg, whisked pinch of garlic salt pinch of blackened seasoning (Zatarain's or Old Bay) Oil the pan, wait til hot. Cut tilapia in half, place in with beaten egg, then into saltine mixture, flip to coat. Put in hot oil, flip in about 3 minutes (fish will cook fast). Note: It is okay if cracker pieces fall off, they get crunchy. Add a pinch of garlic salt and blackened seasoning. Fish will be done when it is white all the way through and falls apart. Serve in bowl or on plate with thyme and some red pepper flakes. Submitted by: Abbi Smith |
