1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup peanut butter (your choice)
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Combine butter, peanut butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and mix well.

In another bowl blend flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
