HAMBURGER CHOWDER 
1 lb. hamburger
6 c. water
6 c. tomato juice
3 sm. onions, chopped
6 potatoes, cut up
6 carrots, cut up
6 beef bouillon cubes
Celery, chopped
Season to taste

Make meatballs if desired; brown hamburger. Add all ingredients and simmer until vegetables are done. 1/2 cup rice or 1/2 cup barley can be added. Cook until done.
