PEACH COBBLER 
1 1/2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
1 1/2 c. milk
3-4 c. fresh sliced peaches or 1 lg. (29 oz.) can peaches, drained

Melt butter in 9"x13" pan. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and stir until mixed, wire whisk works well. Pour batter over butter in pan, do not stir.

If using fresh peaches, combine with 1 cup additional sugar and then spoon over batter, again, do not stir. (If using canned peaches, drain and spoon over batter.)

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Tastes great served warm with ice cream.
