RICH PEACH COBBLER 
1 (29 oz.) can peaches in syrup
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. all purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk

In a saucepan heat the undrained peaches until bubbly; keep warm. Pour melted butter into a 12" x 7 1/2" x 2 1/2" baking dish or a 2 quart baking pan. In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, sugar and baking powder. Stir in milk, just until moistened (batter will be lumpy). Pour the flour mixture into the pan over the melted butter; do not stir. Pour the hot fruit and syrup over the batter. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 8 servings.
