WORLD'S BEST BROWNIES
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 lg. eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate or 12 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. flour
1.25 c. pecans or walnuts

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Generously grease and flour one 11 x 13 inch pan.

3. Melt one stick of butter and one stick of butter in the microwave for 2 minutes and cool thoroughly. If your are using chocolate, melt it with the butter and butter. Be sure to cool the mixture completely before adding it to the other ingredients.

4. Beat two eggs and one cup of sugar for 5 minutes, add the remaining eggs and sugar and beat for an additional 5 minutes and add the vanilla.

5. Add the butter and chocolate mixture and mix well. (If you are using cocoa, it will be added in the next step).

6. Add the flour and the cocoa and mix well, approximately 2 minutes.

7. Add the nuts and mix for 1 to 2 minutes.

8. Spread the batter mixture in your prepared pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until it just begins to pull away from the sides of the pan.

9. THIS IS THE HARD PART!!!... Cool on the lower shelf of the refrigerator for two full hours before cutting. Cut into squares of desired size, store at room temperature in a fairly airtight container. They will keep for up to 2 weeks. THAT'S A LAUGH!!!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
