GARLIC CHEESE LOAF 
1 loaf French bread, sliced diagonally
1/2 c. butter (1 stick), softened
1/2 tsp. garlic salt (hickory salt can be substituted)
1 tsp. Worcestershire
1 c. shredded mild cheddar or colby
1 tbsp. chopped parsley

Whip butter until smooth, add remaining ingredients (cheese last). Spread on sliced bread, reassemble loaf and wrap in aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes (or place above hot coals on barbecue).
