COLORADO PEACH COBBLER 
Filling:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
4 c. sliced, peeled fresh peaches (or 2 large cans)

In bowl, combine sugar, flour, and nutmeg. Add peaches; stir to coat. Pour into a greased 11 x 7 x 2 inch baking pan. Spoon topping over peaches.

Bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden. Serve hot or cold with ice cream if desired. 8-10 servings.

Topping:

1 c. sugar
1 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cold butter
1 egg, beaten

Combine sugar, flour, and baking powder. Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in egg.
