SPICED PEARS 
6 lb. can pears
1/2 of the juice
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves
Stick of cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Melt butter, sugar, and spices in juice. Add pears and simmer about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Serve warm. Great with ham or beef, as a side dish on a buffet table, or for holidays.
