BUSTER BAR DESSERT 
Mix:

1/2 c. melted butter
1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed (use the whole cookie)

(Or a different brand).

Pack into a 9 x 13 inch pan and an 8 x 8 inch pan (makes both). Chill one hour.

Spoon 1/2 gallon softened vanilla (or whatever flavor you want) ice cream on top (1/2 inch thick) or slice hard ice cream and lay on top. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups whole salted peanuts on top (optional) - about one bag. Refreeze.

Mix in saucepan while above is freezing:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. chocolate chips or mint (whatever you want)
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk (12 oz. can)

Bring to a full boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool and set for quite awhile. It will still be runny. When completely cool, pour over the ice cream. Refreeze.

Option: On the day to be served, put Cool Whip on to top. You can sprinkle crushed salted peanuts or chocolate chips on top for decoration. Great on a hot day or if you have alot of company!
