APPLESAUCE BROWNIES (VERSION OF
COOKS.COM RECIPE)
 
1/2 cup butter
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Topping:

1/2 cup walnuts
2 tbsp. sugar
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine wet and dry ingredients separately. Lightly blend together. Pour into a buttered 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle with toppings.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F (or 25 at 325 in convection oven).

Guilt free and more nutritious that regular brownie recipes.
