RICH SWEET DOUGH 
1/2 c. lukewarm milk
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. dry granular yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
2 eggs
1/2 c. soft shortening
4 1/2 to 5 c. all purpose flour

Mix together, milk, sugar, salt. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Stir well. Combine these mixtures and stir in eggs, shortening and flour. Dough should be soft, but easy to handle. Knead until dough is smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl. Grease top of dough. Cover with damp cloth. Let rise in warm spot until double in bulk (1 1/2 hours). Punch down dough and turn completely over in bowl. Let rise again until almost double in bulk (30 to 45 minutes.) Shape in 3 dozen rolls.
