CARROTS ORIENTAL | |
2 lb. carrots, diagonally sliced 1 med. onion, sliced in rings & again in half 1 green pepper, cut up MARINADE: 1 can tomato soup 3/4 c. cider vinegar 3/4 c. salad oil 1 c. sugar 1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian dressing mix 1. Cook carrots, steamed or in water, until partially done. Do not thoroughly cook. Drain and add onion rings and pepper. 2. Heat marinade to boiling, stirring constantly. Pour over carrot, onion and pepper mix. 3. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours before serving. |
