KENTUCKY POUND CAKE 
4 eggs, separated
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. buttered Wesson oil
2 tbsp. water
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. cinnamon
Chopped nuts

Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside. Beat eggs, sugar and oil together. Add flour, water, pineapple and juice, and spices and mix well. Add nuts. Fold in beaten egg whites. Put in ungreased 10 inch tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
