SWEET AND TANGY BBQ MARINADE 
This is a very sweet sauce despite all the salsa and hot sauce! If you want to try a daring spicy variation use cayenne powder instead of regular chili!

1/4 cup Italian dressing
1/4 cup barbecue sauce (use your favorite)
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. salsa
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tbsp. hot sauce (use you favorite - last time I used Taco Bells fire sauce!)
1 tbsp. Jack Daniel's rum
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/4 cup Italian seasonings + various fresh herbs (be creative different herbs impart different flavors!)

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until evenly blended. Place chicken, steak or pork in a Ziplock bag... fill with marinade and let sit in refrigerator for at least 4 hours... I marinade up to 12 hours for best flavor!
