1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 can fruit pie filling

Cream together butter and sugar; add eggs; beat well. Add vanilla. Add flour gradually. Mix well. Pour about 3/4 of batter onto greased 11 x 17 inch jelly roll pan. Now spread pie filling over batter. Drop remaining batter here and there over pie filling. Spread with back of spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40- 45 minutes.
