“TOFFEE” IS IN:
NEXT RECIPE:  TOFFEE

TOFFEE 
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
6 oz. almonds
1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate pieces

Combine sugar, butter and almonds; boil until a few of the almonds pop, stirring constantly.

Note: Color will be a nice golden brown and candy will smell like toffee.

Pour into a buttered cake pan; sprinkle with chocolate pieces, Spread as chocolate melts; sprinkle with additional nuts.

Break into desired pieces when cold.
