WILD RICE SOUP 
1/2 c. wild rice
6 strips bacon
Chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of potato soup
3 1/2 soup cans of milk
1 c. grated American cheese

Brown bacon and onions. Drain off grease. Stir together soups, milk, cheese and wild rice. Crumble bacon and add to soup. Cook until cheese is melted and rice is cooked.

HINTS: Cooking rice ahead of time works best and the more rice the better.
