KENNY MEECE'S FISH BATTER | |
1 c. flour 1/2 to 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper (Lowrey's) 2 eggs, separated 1/4 c. milk 1/2 c. beer or 7-Up Combine egg yolks, flour, salt, pepper, milk and 7-Up, mix well. Beat egg whites until fluffy. Fold into above mixture. Batter must be thin enough to see fish through it. If to thick, add more 7-Up and milk. Make sure your fish has been drained well before dipping. Fry in electric skillet in very hot deep fat. Fry until brown on one side, turn and drain on paper towel. |
