VERMONT CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
1/2 c. maple syrup (if not available, use King syrup)
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. Angostura Bitters
1 (2 lb.) can sweet potatoes

Combine syrup, butter and bitters in large skillet. Add drained sweet potatoes and simmer until slightly thickened.
