DATE LOAF CAKE 
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. dates, chopped
1 lb. pecans, chopped
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
4 lg. eggs

Cut fruit and add dates and nuts. Mix flour, sugar and baking powder. Coat fruit and nuts well with dry mix to separate. Add well beaten eggs. Pour mixture into tube pan and bake 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 250 degrees.
