FRUIT CAKE DOUGH 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Cinnamon
Peaches
Plums
Apples

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix alternately with sifted dry ingredients. Divide into 2 pie pans. Any of the fruit can be used. Start by peeling and quartering fruit and stand them up all the way around pan. Fill in all small spaces with small pieces of fruit. Sprinkle fruit with cinnamon/sugar and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees or until dough is brown around edges. While cooling, sprinkle with extra sugar. Serve with whipped cream.
