BASIL-TOMATO SQUARES | |
3 lg. tomatoes 1 pkg. basil - fresh 1/2 c. butter 2 cloves minced garlic 1 c. garlic-cheese salad dressing (Light Fantastic 95% fat free) 1 loaf sliced San Francisco Sour Dough Bread 1 pkg. grated Parmesan cheese (fresh) 1. Cube all tomatoes. 2. In food processor, chop and clean basil leaves. 3. Mix together in a bowl cubed tomatoes, chopped basil leaf, garlic-cheese salad dressing. Set aside at least 1 hour. 4. Mix butter with minced garlic. Spread on sliced sour dough bread and place on cookie sheet. Brown on 500 degrees for approximately 5-7 minutes (watch browning). 5. After browning bread scoop approximately 2 tablespoons on each slice and garnish with Parmesan cheese. |
