OLD FASHION PRUNE CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil

Mix. 1 tsp. baking soda 2 c. flour 1 tsp. powdered cloves 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 c. cut up prunes, dust with flour so won't sink into batter

Alternate these ingredients when adding to creamed mixture by gradually adding first one, then the others. Fold in prunes.

Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350 degrees in greased and floured tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Bake 50 minutes.

Glaze with: 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. salt

Bring to boil for 1 minute. Punch holes in cooled cake. Pour glaze over cake.
