APPLE JEWISH CAKE 
GLAZE:

1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. orange juice

Heat and mix.

CAKE:

Cut up 2 c. apples
5 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix together and set aside.

3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar

Mix well.

1 c. oil
4 eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix until smooth. Grease tube pan. Pour one layer of batter, then all apples, then rest of batter. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Pour hot glaze over cake. Let stand 1 hour.
