LINDA DYERS' APPLE GOODIE 
3 c. apples, chopped
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. quick oats
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. shortening or butter
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Combine apples, 1 tablespoon flour, sugar and cinnamon. Toss to coat apples. Place in greased 8 x 13 inch pan. In medium bowl, combine quick oats, 3/4 cup flour, brown sugar, butter, baking soda and baking powder; mix well until crumbly and all the flour is absorbed. Spread on top of apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
