SPANISH CHICKEN 
2 tbsp. butter
1 onion, chopped fine
4 oz. can mushrooms
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 tbsp. flour
1 lg. can tomatoes
5 tbsp. French dressing
2 c. or more cooked chicken
1/2 to 3/4 c. green pepper (optional)

Melt butter, add onion and mushrooms. Let simmer a minute or two. Add salt, oregano, and flour. This will thicken, so keep stirring. Then add tomatoes and rest of ingredients. Simmer 45 minutes, stirring often or it will stick. Serve over hot rice or noodles.
