BEEF BISCUIT CASSEROLE 
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. green peppers, diced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (8 oz.) can biscuits
1 1/2 c. Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. dairy sour cream

Brown ground beef, onion and pepper; drain. Stir in sauce, chili powder and garlic powder; simmer. Separate biscuits into 10, pull apart in 2 layers. Press 10 layers biscuits over bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine 1/2 cup cheese (reserve rest for top), sour cream and egg. Mix well. Remove meat from heat and stir in sour cream mixture. Spoon over dough. Put rest of biscuit on top. Sprinkle rest of cheese on. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
