GOOSEBERRY SALAD 
1 can Thank You gooseberries in syrup
1 c. sugar
1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello
1 sm. pkg. lime Jello
2 c. boiling water
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. diced celery
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 lg. tub whipped topping
1/2 c. mayonnaise
Grated cheese for garnish

Combine gooseberries and syrup with sugar and let set. Combine the 2 packages of Jello with 2 cups boiling water, stirring to dissolve. Let cool, then add to gooseberry mixture. Add chopped pecans, diced celery and cut-up grated cheese. Pour into a 9x12 inch dish and refrigerate.

When set, combine the whipped topping mixture with the mayonnaise and spread over the salad, garnishing the top with more grated cheese.
