1 egg
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Add soda to flour and mix. Blend together shortening, butter, peanut butter and eggs. Mix into flour mixture. Add remaining ingredients and shape into balls. Dip fork into cup of cold water and flatten cookies with fork. This will help fork not to stick to cookie batter. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. Cookie sheet needs to be greased.
