SUMMER SALAD 
1 med. head lettuce
1 can peas
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Tomatoes for garnish, sliced or cherry
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 c. chopped celery
2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1 c. shredded cheese, Mozzarella

Layer 13"x9"x2" baking dish with lettuce, onion, celery, peas, water chestnuts. Mix mayonnaise with sugar, salt, pepper and spread over layered vegetables. Sprinkle with Mozzarella, then Parmesan. Cover and refrigerate 12 hours.
