24 HOUR GREEN PEA SALAD 
1 head lettuce, broken in bite-size pieces
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 can sliced water chestnuts
2 boxes frozen green peas, partially thawed
1 tbsp. sugar
1 pt. mayonnaise
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Layer ingredients as listed. Cover and refrigerate at least 24 hours. Garnish with quartered tomatoes and boiled eggs.
