MAPLE CRANBERRY SAUCE 
12 oz. fresh cranberries, well washed
1 c. REAL maple syrup
1 c. cranberry-raspberry juice
Grated zest of 1 oranges
1 c. walnut halves

Combine cranberries, maple syrup, juice, and orange zest in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, low heat to medium and cook 10 minutes or until cranberries pop open.

Skim off foam that forms on surface. Stir in walnuts. Cool. Refrigerate until use. Place whipped topping in dollops over outside circle of bowl if desired. serve separate.
