MAPLE SYRUP SAUCE 
1 c. maple syrup
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts

Melt butter in saucepan; add flour and salt. Cook 2 minutes and add syrup. Cool 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. (Makes 1 cup).
