GYPSY GUMBO 
2 lb. hamburger
2 cans vegetable soup
1/2 lb. Velveeta, cut into pieces
1 bag Fritos
Salt and pepper, to taste

Fry hamburger and drain grease. Then add soup and cheese. Cook in large pot until hot and cheese is melted. Serve over crushed corn chips.

This soup is delicious. It's a family favorite. We call it cheeseburger soup and put the Fritos on top, otherwise everything is the same. Fast and easy to make. Definitely recommend!

We used to make this over the campfire at Girl Scout camp in the 80's and 90's! It's a total sodium "bomb" but we have it once a year for sure. I add 1-2 soup cans of water also to make it stretch further and more like a soup vs a stew. I also add a can of rotel for extra tomatoes and a little spice.
