BLONDE BROWNIES 
2/3 c. Wesson oil
1 lb. box light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
6 oz. chocolate chips

Add 2 tablespoons hot water to Wesson oil. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat until mixed. Sift dry ingredients. Add small amount at a time to Wesson oil mixture. Then add nuts and pour into greased and floured 9 x 12 inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate bits over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
