PINEAPPLE DROP COOKIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. crushed pineapple, drained
2/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. brown sugar, pack firm

Sift flour once. Add baking powder, soda, and salt. Sift again. Cream shortening, add sugar gradually. Cream together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add pineapple and vanilla.

Add flour (small amount at a time) beating after each addition until smooth. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees 10 minutes or until done.
