PINEAPPLE DROP COOKIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs, unbeaten
3/4 c. canned crushed pineapple, well drained
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour once, measure. Add baking powder, soda and salt; sift again. Cream shortening. Add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Then add pineapple and vanilla.

Add flour, a small amount at a time, beating after each addition until smooth. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 10 minutes or until done. Cool. Spread top of cookie with vanilla frosting and dip in chopped nuts.
