OLD FASHIONED GINGERBREAD 
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs, beaten

Mix all ingredients together and add eggs last. Bake at 350 degrees until gingerbread pulls away from sides of pan.
