Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Put whole saltine crackers edge to edge on top of foil. Melt 2 sticks of butter, add 1 cup of sugar and boil for 3 minutes. Pour this mixture over saltine crackers. Bake in 400 degree oven for 7 minutes.
Mix 1 (6 ounce) package peanut butter chips and 1 (6 ounce) package of chocolate bits. Spread this chip mix over butter-cracker mixture when you remove it from the oven. The heat will melt the chips as you spread them evenly with a spoon. Place in refrigerator for half an hour. Chip off the sheet after being chilled.
