PAPRIKAS (CHICKEN & GRAVY) 
2 lbs. chicken pieces or veal
3/4 c. flour
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. water
1 tsp. sweet red paprika
1 c. sweet cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped onion

Salt chicken, dredge in flour and fry on both sides until browned. Add onions and cook until brown, then add water and paprika and simmer until meat is tender (45 to 60 minutes). Pour sweet cream and warm a few minutes. Serve with haluski (dumpling) or regular noodles. You can substitute veal for the chicken.
