POLISH CHICKEN AND GRAVY 
1 chicken, cut up
2-3 onions, chopped coarse
1 lg. pkg. mushrooms, sliced
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. paprika - sweets
1/3 c. butter

Brown chicken in butter to nice color - add onions and mushrooms when halfway done. Use large fry pan. Add water, salt, pepper. Cook for 35 minutes on low - let simmer covered. Remove chicken to heated bowl. Add rest of ingredients. Stir with wire whisk on high for 1 minute until thick. Serve over rice. Can be doubled easily. (If too thick, add a little water).
