GRANDMA'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 lg. can whole tomatoes
2 lg. tomato sauce
1 lg. tomato paste
1 sm. can mushrooms
Olive oil
1 lg. onion, chopped
2-3 stalks celery
1/4 tsp. allspice
2 tbsp. sugar
Water to thin, if necessary
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 bay leaves
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. thyme, oregano flakes and rosemary
1 tsp. lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

In large pan, saute onion in olive oil until tender, not brown. Add celery, saute until tender. Add cut-up tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste. Add spices, adjust to taste as necessary. Let cook 2-3 hours on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms before serving. Great for freezing for future meals.
