WHITE CLAM SAUCE FOR SPAGHETTI | |
1 can chopped clams 1/2 c. olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced (don't skimp) 1 tbsp. parsley, chopped (fresh best) Salt & pepper to taste 1/2 lb. very thin spaghetti 3 qt. water 1 tbsp. olive oil Cook spaghetti per package directions on box, in water with oil. While spaghetti is cooking, heat oil in a skillet. Add garlic and brown lightly. Add parsley, undrained clams and seasonings. Heat for 2 minutes and remove from heat. Drain cooked spaghetti, put on a platter and pour sauce over. Makes 2-3 generous servings. |
