TEA GARDEN SALAD | |
1 pkg. orange Jello 1 c. fresh black tea (hot) use tea bag 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges 1 c. juice from pineapple & oranges 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts Nuts, chopped 2 c. Cool Whip 1 c. mayonnaise Grated orange rind Dissolve Jello in hot tea, add juice (add regular orange juice if needed to make 1 cup). Place in refrigerator until partially thick. Add water chestnuts (drained and cut in slices or pieces). Add fruit, also nuts, if desired. Let set, then cover with Cool Whip and mayonnaise (mixed). Top with grated orange rind. |
