PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
1/3 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 prepared chocolate pie crust
4 eggs, separated, yolks and whites
1/2 c. water
1 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
1 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 c. granulated sugar

Cream peanut butter with confectioners' sugar until crumbly. Sprinkle into pie crust.

Combine the sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, water and pudding mix in a saucepan. Cook and stir in sour cream. Pour into pie crust.

In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites and the cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually add the granulated sugar and beat until stiff. Spread carefully onto the pie to the edge of the crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Chill before serving. Serves 8.
