SAUSAGE ORIENTAL 
1 c. water
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 lb. hot Italian sausage links, cut into 1" pieces
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 (8 oz.) fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 med. green pepper, cut into 1" pieces
3 green onions, sliced
2 c. fresh bean sprouts
8 oz. fresh pea pods (1 1/3 c.)
1 c. sliced Daikon
8 oz. Swiss chard, cut into bite-size pieces (4 c.)

Combine water and soy sauce; stir in the cornstarch; set aside. In a 12 inch skillet or wok stir fry sausage in hot oil 10 minutes. Add mushrooms, green pepper, daikon and green onions. Stir fry 5 minutes more.

Add sprouts, pea pods and chard. Stir fry 3 minutes more. Stir soy sauce mixture; add to skillet or wok. Cook and stir mixture 2 minutes more. Makes 4 servings.
